RECRUITING VIOLATIONS
The NCAA manual is 494 of mind numbing rules and regulations regarding the recruitment of players. For an indepth look at the situation read the Fresno Bee with the little things the coaches must deal with. It seems that being curteous and polite are out the window sometimes.

USA U20
WI
Jolene Anderson has made the first cut to make the 20U national team. The evaluators are really honing in on defensive skills. Also making the cut to 18 is Victoria Lucas-Perry from Michigan State; Marscilla Packer, Ohio State; Lyndsey Wisdom-Hylton, Purdue. The team is preparing for the 20U championships in Mexico City August 8-12. Here is more from the Wisconsin press release.

TOURNAMENTS
AAU 14U
The Michigan Shock, the last team in the coverage area, was beat by Indiana's Finest 55-52 in the round of 16. find out who is left at the 14u site.

NORTH TARTAN MELTDOWN
The aptly named Meltdown tournament wraps up today. In fact I am leaving after this post to Bloomington Kennedy. There will be about five games I will watch today starting at 9:15.
