Rachel Church, Bullock Creek, injured her ACL in March and has been making steady progress in her recovery. She hopes to return to the lineup in midseason. Michigan plays in the fall, so some time in October. Here is more from the Midland Daily News.

Crookston has been racking up the wins this summer. They were undefeated at North Dakota State's team camp, and they won the Grand Forks Summer League. They will be in Mandan, ND July 13 & 14. More details in the Crookston Times.

AAU 15u D2 NATIONALS

The 15u Flint Lady Warriors lost to Puerto Rico Ponce Select 61-57, but Chanise Turner turned some heads with a 30 point performance for Flint. They beat Team Connecticut 62-59, trounced VT Arlington Mack Attack 67-31, and edged the MA Comets 55-49. They play the MD Lady Shooting Stars today. You can see Ford and Holland-Corn had outstanding nights.
Again it was the key quarter was the 2nd as Detroit outscored MN 31-13. Swin Cash had a 10 point quarter.
The key points MN needs improvement on are Post play both offense and defense, and the point guard play.
The WNBA grind is rough. The consistency is hard to come by. Augustus delivers day in and day out. Where is the rest of the help?
