BY THE NUMBERS
DPN 60, 62, 96.8, .484
MMSW 37, 63, 58.7, .270

I saw all teams on Friday in the final action of pool play. It gave me a chance to see 8 teams I haven't seen yet this summer. DPN was much more physical, aggressive and had better speed on the perimeter. Their shooting eyese weren't bad either. I compared the heights and weights of both these teams and they were pretty similar
DPN 5-9.9, 144.1
MMSW 5-9.7, 143.3
So the numbers indicated that it was a close call physically. However DPN was cut or chisled. My guess is they would do better in the weight room.
MMSW went on to win the consolation bracket with wins over MN Summit 49-36; Iowa Elite 49-46; and in the consolation championship 53-37 over SD Northern Lites. Sara Wiens had a strong finish with 15-15-14 the last three games.
