DELLE DONNE DONE
The #1 recruit in the nation in the 2008 class 6-5 Elena Delle Donne of Delaware has decided not to play college basketball. She will not be attending UConn. Here is a timeline of Delle Donne and her UConn connection. From the Hartford Courant.

VERBAL
Anne Skriba of Fond du Lac has verballed Concordia St. Paul. The 5-7 guard averaged 3.6 ppg for the 15-8 Cardinals last winter. Skriba played with HLC in the summer season.
Skriba is the 13th player overall in the Wisconsin 2009 class to verbal and the 5th to verbal a D2 program.

RECRUITING
The Lincoln Journal Star looks at the Nebraska girls class of 2009 over a variety of sports. The basketball portion is midway down the article.

TRANSFER
Lori Bjork of Johnston, IA left Illinois earlier this spring. She has landed at Maryland. From the Des Moines Register ---last item.

Stacy Schutjer of WCLT, IA was named female athlete of the year by the Mason City Globe Gazette. She is headed to Simpson for her collegiate experience.

RECOVERY

Alaska Anchorage and Colorado State have released their 2008-09 schedule.

NORTHERN SUN
Augustana is now in the Northern Sun and will be looking for new rivals. The likely choice---Northern State.
