Michigan State beat Northern Illinois 67-40 in Cancun. Alyssa DeHaan had 17 to lead the Spartans. Becky Smith (Janesville Parker) had 8 for NIU.

Georgia Tech beat Northwestern 55-46. Melissa Miller (Breck) had 3 for Northwestern.

Alaska Anchorage beat Santa Clara 52-50. Rebecca Kielpinski (Mandan, ND) had 23 for AA. Claire Goins (Sioux City Heelan) had 2 for Santa Clara.

Cleveland State beat Bradley 82-61 in Alaska. Jenny Van Kirk (Waconia) had 20 and Renee Frericks (Forest Lake) did not score for Bradley.

Auburn beat Oakland 71-63. Melissa Jeltema (Grand Rapids Christian) had 22 for Oakland.

Marshall beat Morehead State 83-79. Kizzy Hart (Oak Park, MI) had 17 for Marshall.

IUPUI beat SC Spartanburg 65-56. Jessica Bennett (Milwaukee Washington) had 3 for IUPUI.

D2 ACTION
Upper Iowa beat Central College 73-36. Ashley Martin (Ames, IA) had 21 for UIU.

MSU Moorhead edged St. Cloud State 93-87. Jessica Fesenmaier (BOLD) had 27 for Moorhead. Kayla Rengel (St. Cloud Tech) had 23 for St. Cloud. It was experienced post play that gave Moorhead the edge according to the St. Cloud Times.

COMMUNITY COLLEGE
#1 Iowa Central rolled past Minneapolis CTC 111-48 on Wednesday night. Abby Brend had 20 for IC. Brittany Johnson (Mpls North) had 25 for MCTC. From the Fort Dodge Messenger.

UPCOMING ACTION

North Dakota edged Northern State 66-61 in Aberdeen. The Grand Forks Herald says UND survived the scare. Ashley Langen (Kittson Central) and Karla Beck (Starkweather-Munich, ND) each had 16 for UND. Noelle Hall (Lewiston-Altura) and Jaclyn Arns (St. Michael-Albertville) had 21 each for NSU.

UM Crookston beat Valley City State 73-59. Diana Taddy (Two Rivers, WI) had 19 and Jamie Zelinsky (Park Center) had 18 for UMC. Terra Billiet (Lac Qui Parle Valley) had 13 for VCSU.

UN Omaha beat Grand View 76-48. Cayla Hargrove did not score for UNO.

Winona State won the battle of Winona with a 80-53 win over St. Mary's. Nikki Fleck (Iowa City Regina) had 17 for WSU. Stephanie Ayers (Deer River) had 15 for St. Mary's.

Northwood doubled Rochester 106-53. Pam Wilson (Grand Blanc, MI) had 25 for Northwood.

Saginaw Valley State beat Central State 71-52.

Augsburg beat UW River Falls 77-62. Shannon Renne (Nicollet) had 16 for Augsburg. Caitlin Hunstock (Mpls South) had 26 for UWRF.

Bethel beat UM Morris 86-59. Annegret Nautsch (SF Washington) had 28 for Bethel. Tynell Kocer (Pierre, SD) had 13 for UMM.

UW Eau Claire beat St. Norbert 61-57. From the Green Bay Press Gazette. Michelle Burns (Eau Claire North) had 19 for UWEC. Morgan Strasser had 16 for St. Norbert.

UW Superior edged St. Scholastica 59-58. Carissa Nord (Duluth Central) had 15 for UWS. Whitney Latham (Becker) had 15 for St. Scholastica.

UW Stout beat Northwestern MN 73-46. Julia Hirssig (Rochester Mayo) had 17 for Stout. Kaylee Kendrick (Bethany) had 13 for NW.

UW Oshkosh beat Ripon 69-55. From the Oshkosh Northwestern. Tiffany Pugh (Waterford) had 20 for UWO. Jessica DeHamer (Neenah, WI) had 24 for Ripon.

Aquinas beat Alma 75-56. Meagan Hoblet (Cadillac, MI) had 19 for Alma.

NAIA
#17 Mount Marty topped #9 Dakota State. From the Yankton Press & Dakotan. Katelyn Kunz had 21 for Mt Marty. Laura Tewes (Mayer Lutheran) had 14 for Dakota State.

Dakota Wesleyan beat Sioux Falls 65-62 in 2 overtimes. Turnovers plagued USF. From the Sioux Falls Argus Leader. Ashley Johnson had 24 for Dakota Wesleyan. Morgan Campbell (Platte, SD) had 17 for Sioux Falls.

Morningside beat Briar Cliff 94-60. From the Sioux City Journal. JJ Hall had 20 for Morningside. Cat Nelson (Sioux City North) had 13 for BC.

COMMUNITY COLLEGE
Minneapolis CTC beat St. Cloud TC 72 -51. Brittany Johnson (Mpls North) led MCTC with 37 points and Brooke Winscher (Royalton) led SCTC with 17.

North Dakota tournament
North Dakota beat Montana State Billings 77-45. The Post game dominates for UND. Ashley Langen (Kittson Central) had 21 to lead the Sioux. From the Grand Forks Herald.

Metro State beat MSU Moorhead 75-71. Jessica Fesenmaier (BOLD) had 14 for Moorhead. Alyssa Benson (Minnetonka) had 2 for Metro State.

Concordia St. Paul tournament
Augustana beat Missouri Valley 89-62. Ashley Holiday (Hamlin, SD) had 15 for Augustana. Bonnie Johnson (Osseo) had 26 to lead all scorers for MV.

Concordia St. Paul beat Northern Michigan 86-66. Amanda Behnke (St. Croix Lutheran) had 22 for CSP. Behnke was also tourney MVP.

Mankato tournament
St. Cloud State beat UW Stout 87-72. Talisha Barlow (Roseville) had 20 for St. Cloud State. Julia Hirssig (Rochester Mayo) had 19 for Stout.

MSU Mankato beat Northwood 81-74. Mankato's Heather Johnson (JWP) was named MVP of the tourney. She also led in scoring with 22 points. Sarah Glowacki (Freeland, MI) and Pam Wilson (Grand Blanc, MI) each had 15 for Northwood.

CSU Pueblo tournament
Western State beat Bemidji State 50-46. Amy Lawson (Spencer, IA) had 16 for BSU.

South Dakota beat Mount Marty 91-73. Jeana Hoffman (Mitchell) had 21 for USD. Amber Mardsen had 24 for MM. This is USD's last season as a D2 school and also coach Chad Lavin's last season as the coach. From this Sioux Falls Argus Leader.

UN Omaha beat Rockhurst 72-64. Alyssa Green (Cedar Rapids Washington) had 21 points for UNO. Cayla Hargrove (North St. Paul) added 9 for UNO.

Hillsdale beat Shippensburg 66-49. Katie Cezat (Canton, MI) had 18 for Hillsdale. Catherine Nass (Rochester Century) added 2.

Quincy beat UM Duluth 84-72. Katy Freeman (Duluth East) and Jacquie Hartman (St. Cloud Apollo) had 13 each for UMD.

SW MN State beat Chadron State 72-54. Sara Leidall (Rochester Century) had 20 to lead SW MN State. Sunni Busch (Todd County, SD) had 21 to lead Chadron State.

Winona State beat UW River Falls 80-45. It was WSU coach Matt Ballard's 300th career win. Natalie Gigler (Champlin Park) had 19 for WSU.

In the Concordia Tournament
Augustana beat Northern Michigan 67-57. Whitney Hofer (West Central, SD) had 22 to pace Augustana. Allison Carroll (Rhinelander, WI) had 17 to top NMU.

Concordia St. Paul hit the century mark in a 103-54 win over Missouri Valley. Amanda Behnke (St. Croix Lutheran) had 18 for CSP. Bonnie Johnson (Osseo) led Missouri Valley with 11.

In the Mankato Tournament
MSU Mankato downed UW Stout 91-64. Joanne Noreen (Albany) had 18 for Mankato.

Northwood beat St. Cloud State 84-59. Sarah Glowacki (Freeland, MI) had 18 to lead Northwood. Katie Tacheny (Woodbury) had 14 for St. Cloud State.

In the North Dakota Tournament
MSU Moorhead beat Montana State Billings 89-65. Katie Waldon (Hawley) had 19 to top Moorhead.

#1 North Dakota edged Metro State 64-56. Kierah Kimbrough (BGMR) had 18 to lead UND. Alyssa Benson (Minnetonka) had four for MS.

In the Quincy Tournament
Delta State topped UM Duluth 63-58. It was Tanya Bauer's first contest at the helm for UMD. Stephanie Reiter (Blaine) had 15 for UMD.

In the CSU Pueblo tournament
CSU Pueblo downed Bemidji State 74-67. Stephanie Peterson (Bismarck Century) led Bemidji State with 15.

In the Wayne State tournament
Wayne State beat Colorado Christian 74-53 in their opener. Teresa Case (Sioux Falls Roosevelt) and Andrea Schoepf (South Sioux City, NE) had 14 to lead Wayne State. Abby Rosenthal (Cedar Rapids Kennedy) had 12 for CCU.

Other games
UM Crookston beat sister school UM Morris 90-76. Jamie Zelinsky (Park Center) had 21 for Crookston. Alaina Benson (Clinton-Graceville-Beardsley) had 20 for Morris.

Mary beat Rocky Mountain College 79-56. Nicci Landdeck (North Bend, WA) had 32 for Mary.

Xavier handed Penn State their first loss of the year 72-68. Janessa Wolff (Park Rapids) had 6 for Penn State.

#4 LSU thumped #17 Michigan State 64-41. Alyssa DeHaan (Grandville, MI) had 8 for MSU.

Other games
South Dakota State beat Oregon on the road 67-60. Kristin Rotert (McCook Central) and Ashley Verdegan (Flambeau, WI) each had 18 to lead SDSU.

Florida Atlantic beat Palm Beach Atlantic 80-46. Two former NDSCS players Jana Momoh (Park Center) and Jenna Giller (St. Paul Como Park) had 7 and 2 for FL Atlantic.

#11 Texas A&M beat Prairie View A&M 73-54. Kandis Brown (Lakeville) had 2 for Prairie View.

Northern Illinois edged Western Illinois 60-59. Jessie Wilcox (Oshkosh West) had 23 for NIU.

Illinois State beat UW Green Bay 79-70. Erin Templin (Richland Center, WI) had 13 to pace UWGB. UWGB trailed by as many as 24 in the second half. From the Green Bay Press Gazette.

Robert Morris crunched Kent State 90-65. Alisa Brinkman (Pocahontas, IA) had 17 for Kent State.

Albany beat Colgate 86-62. Krista Moser (Cedar Rapids Jefferson) had 13 to lead Colgate.

Maine beat Dartmouth 67-53. Kristen Craft (Marshalltown, IA) had 19 to lead Dartmouth.
