Joe Reints has been hired as the new women's basketball coach at Dakota State in Madison, South Dakota. Reints is from Willow Lake, SD and for the past three years was the coach at Lambuth University of Jackson, TN. From KELO, the Madison Daily Leader and the Jackson Sun.

SIGNING
Lindsey Shearer of Oregon City has signed with Western Oregon. Shearer averaged 10.3 ppg last season.

SCRIMMAGE
Do your players start to get on each others' nerves during the first week of practice? Need some different teams and players to compete against? Bloomington Jefferson High School has openings for its multi-team girls basketball Varsity/JV scrimmage on Saturday, November 17th. Each high school girls program will get five 25 minute officiated scrimmages from 8:30am-12pm. GIRLS BASKETBALL PLAYERS IN FALL Q&A
Marissa Janning, the Watertown-Mayer youngster, is also a cross-country runner and has a Q&A session with the StarTribune.
Jackie Voigt, Park-Cottage Grove, is headed to the Gophers for basketball. In the fall she is a soccer goalie. Another Q&A session with the StarTribune.

FALL BALL
St. Paul Central defeated 43 Hoops on Sunday to remain undefeated in the White Division. According to reports 43 Hoops led by 3 at the half. Central played the 1st half without using their full court pressure. The press was applied in the 2nd half and Central won by between 15 and 20.
