VERBALS
Emilee Harmon of Pickerington Central, Ohio has made a verbal to Ohio State. The 6-2 junior center averaged 18.8 last year.

Kim Parker of Wasatch, Utah has made a verbal to Brigham Young. The 5-11 junior averaged 15.1 ppg last year. From the Salt Lake Tribune.

SIGNINGS
Kirkwood CC players Rachele Monroe and Ashley Gorsh both signed with the Univ. of New Orleans, and Allie Lindemann has signed with Siena College.

COACHING NEWS
Kristy Stark has been asked to resign as girls basketball coach at Mason County Eastern, Michigan due to work conflicts. From the Ludington Daily News.

Reeths-Puffer in Michigan is looking for a girls basketball coach. From the White Lake Beacon.

Former Fairmont player and current Briar Cliff sophomore Rhiannon Plumhoff will hold a camp at Fairmont June 9-13. She is also coaching the Northwest Iowa Select 7th grade AAU team.

Jenna Weber of Reedsville, Wisconsin has been named the female athlete of the year in the Manitowoc Herald Times Reporter.

UW Milwaukee women's basketball team leaves for Amsterdam today for a three nation, eight day trip.

The Al Woods show named gbbrecruit as the site of the day on his radio show on April 17. The first portion of the 15 minute show deals with emails from parents and players on the recruiting process.
Here is the Al Woods Recruiting site. This site will answer many questions in the recruiting process.

Northland has three girls basketball players that have made a deposit for school:
Ashleigh Galligan, Campbellsport, WI 6-0 F 9.6 ppg
Kristin Zimmer, Laona, WI 5-10 F
Ashley Runge, Grand Rapids, MN 5-6 G 15.5 ppg

UW River Falls has added three more players:
Taylor House, 5-10 post player from Maple Grove
Alise Holst, a 5-8 wing from Plainview-Elgin-Millville
Courtney Jensen, a 6-2 post from Cornell, WI.

Alexia Tann, Beloit Memorial has signed with Highland Community College. The 5-8 guard averaged 11 ppg this past season. From the Beloit Daily News.

Lene Lox has signed with Upper Iowa. Lox played the last two years at Southeastern CC in Burlington, Iowa. Before that she played with Union HS in Illinois. The 6-0 perimeter averaged 13 ppg last year.

Kathleen Reynolds of Sioux City East is headed to Northern State. The 5-7 guard averaged 15.5 for East this past year. From the Sioux City Journal.

SEASON WRAPS
UW Green Bay had their year end banquet and passed out their awards.

Nebraska's season is reviewed.

New Mexico had their banquet last night and passed out their awards. Amy Beggin of Roseville won the Reaching for the Stars award.

AAU TOURNAMENTS

RADIO BROADCAST
IOWA
As of 11 am today the US Cellular Center in Cedar Rapids is ready to host the two 4A regional championships tonight.

Radio station 1600 AM (www.thezone1600.com) will broadcast the CR Washington vs Davenport West beginning at 5:45 pm CT. The station's web site also streams audio. They will carry the CR Jefferson vs CR Kennedy game too following the first game.

If anyone else knows of streaming audio, let me know so the rest of the world can listen to games they can't get to.
