Saturday: Night of Stars

It will be a busy All Star night on Saturday with at least five games going on. Iowa and South Dakota are each holding two, and Wisconsin will have one.
Signings are picking up now that the season is over. Again, to check on the fall signings, go to the archives and check October or November.

ALL STAR GAMES

There will be an all star game at Benton HS in Van Horne on Saturday, March 25 at 5:30 between the WaMaC conference and the South Iowa Cedar League.
I originally wrote the Dordt games were on the 26th. It should be on the 25th (Saturday)
MICH
On June 20 Michigan and Indiana will battle at Bethel College in Indiana. Michigan will face the Indiana East all stars at 7 pm, with the Indiana West team taking on the Indiana Metro team later that night. The Championship will be on June 23.
MN
The Bernick Pepsi All Star game will take place Tuesday, March 28 at Duluth East HS between the Duluth team vs "Area" team mainly from Iron Range and Section 7 teams.
SD
The Corn Belt Conference vs Custer Battlefield Highway Conference takes place at 2 pm at the Hanson Activity Center in Alexandria on Saturday, March 25.
Sisseton All Star game is also on the 25th.
WI
FVA/Valley 8 All Star game will take place Saturday, March 25 at Kaukauna
at 6 pm the FVA will play the Valley 8
at 8 pm the FVA North will play the FVA South

Margo Muhlbauer, IKM to Buena Vista. IKM won the 1A Tournament in Iowa this year, and Muhlbauer was named captain or MVP of the 1A Tournament.
Olivia Hansen, Davenport Assumption to Kirkwood CC. Hansen is a 6-1 forward. Her #1 team was upset in the 2A quarterfinals by Audubon.
Toia McGowan, Davenport West to David Lipscomb
Brittany Norris, Cedar Rapids Jefferson to Upper Iowa. Norris is a 6-2 post and her team lost in the 4A semifinals in the State tournament.
ND
Lindsey Sannes, Wahpeton to Mayville State. Lindsey's sister Val is at North Dakota.

I have to give a shout out to the Ellsworth Boys basketball team. They won their quarterfinal game against Stephen-Argyle 74-62. I used to coach the boys there before I switched over to coaching girls in 1987.
