MONSON SIGNS
Brooke Monson of Riverland (and Austin) has signed with Minot State for the 2009-10 season. Monson averaged 20 ppg last year. From the Austin Daily Herald and KAAL TV (with video).

Monson is the first 2009 Community College player to have made a 4 year decision.

HOOPER
Can there ever be a better name for a basketball player other than Jordan Hooper. Hooper is a 6-3 junior athlete from Alliance, Nebraska. She averaged 17.5 ppg and 13.s rpg last season. She is drawing interest not only in basketball but also volleyball. Basketball, with a name like Hooper, is her first love. From the Omaha World Herald.
