All Star and AAU Tournaments

MINNESOTA REPORTS
The Coaches All Star game is this weekend. Games are at 6 and 8 Saturday and 1 and 3 on Sunday at St. Thomas. Ashley Walterman of GHEC is on the Class A team and she gets a feature in the Fairmont Sentinel.

Shenandoah's girls basketball coach Steve Sauvain has resigned.

AAU REPORTS
LAST WEEKEND
Minnesota Fury 15U won their first tournament of the year, at the MN Comets Spring Shootout. Game by Game results and box scores will be available on their website in the next few days.

THIS WEEKEND
All of the MN Stars Teams (15U and up) are headed to the Super South Showcase in Rock Hill, South Carolina this Friday through Sunday. Here is a list of teams attending.

Two Cornhusker Shooting Stars teams leave Thursday for Raleigh, NC to participate in the Deep South Classic held at the campuses of North Carolina, Duke & NC State.

The NE Bison CSS 17U- Which Features some Nationally ranked players including 2009 Standouts (the dynamic starting back court of Marissa Kastanek- Verballed to NC State, and KK Houser current offers include Iowa State, Iowa, Creighton, and Michigan State) will open up play Friday against MN NC Heat in a game in which some college coaches are calling the "game of the tournament" features these two teams in the first round on UNC Dean Smith main court. The team which has a very experienced backcourt, and some talented size up front expects to have a very good summer. The team will be one of 24 placed in the 17U signature division. The director feels these are the top 24 teams at the tournament.

The NE Judds CSS 15U- returns 3 starters from last years Judds team (ranked 2nd by your website in 15U at end of the year), and 5 players from last years Cornhusker Shooting Stars 14U team (only loss to team in own grade last summer was to Minneapolis Lady Cats by 4 in finals of All Iowa Attack). The team with many young talented guards will play an uptempo game featuring full court man to man and Fast break basketball. They open up with the Michigan Lady Hurrikanes. The tournament director has moved up what he feels are the top 32 U15 teams and placed them in 16U select.

WEEKENDS TO COME
The Minnesota State Qualifier/Seeding Tournament on April 25-27 at Bloomington Kennedy will have College Coaches packets will be available for D2 and D3 coaches with full contact information for players.
