What is the Ballers Database?

FOR HS/JUCO BASKETBALL PLAYERS
The Ballers Database is the ultimate FREE connection to college coaches at every level (D1, D2, D3, NAIA and JUCO) all over the country. When you register and fill out your FREE profile colleges have access to it immediately and have the ability to search for you by height, grad year, position, state, GPA and academic interest. We encourage you to keep your profile as up to date as possible with accurate and complete information for colleges to identify you as a prospect that might be a good fit for their programs athletically and academically. Fun new features include the ability to upload short video clips/game highlights, password-protected transcripts, team schedules and your own blog to share game recaps, season updates, recruiting updates, etc. Everything coaches need to identify and recruit you!

FOR COLLEGE BASKETBALL COACHES
The Ballers Database will develop into the ultimate FREE recruiting tool. With recruiting periods and budgets being so limited the Ballers Database will provide college coaches with extensive and accurate profiles of outstanding HS/JUCO prospects from all over the country. The Ballers Database already has prospects from 35 states, Canada and the UK registered. Colleges can search for prospects by height, position, grad year, state, GPA and academic interest. Coming in the next couple days, we will open our AAU team registration and HS/JUCO team registration. Colleges not only can search for student-athletes by state but also HS/AAU/JUCO teams as well. Team profiles will include a team photo, schedule, blog, photo gallery, video, web site link and roster. Rosters will link you to profiles of any registered players.

When you fill out your team registration it gives colleges nationwide(D1, D2, D3, NAIA and JUCO) easy access to your team photo, roster, schedule, blog, photos, video, web site link and contact info inquire about your players. AWARDS
North Dakota picked up six awards from the WBCA for things like Best Tradition, Best Community Support and Best Pep Band.

AAU NEWS
The Minnesota Fury is looking for talented 8th graders for their 13U team, coached by Andy Cerisier. Andy is a former DeLaSalle assistant coach who is now an assistant at the University of St. Thomas. The Fury are excited to have such a talented coach instructing the youth in their program. Congrats to the Cornhusker Shooting Stars 13U (8th grade) girls basketball team for winning the USSSA Mid Winter Bash ( Hosted by All Iowa Attack) in Ames, IA. The team made up of players from Lincoln, NE and surrounding communities finished the tournament 5-0. Defeating the Kansas City Breeze (MV Eclipse Players) in the quarterfinals, All Iowa Attack in the semi’s, and a narrow 2 point victory over MN Fairview Lady Cardinals in the finals.

The team is now 36-5 on the year with 3 losses coming to defending national champions Air Oklahoma Stars.

Tryouts for the Cornhusker Shooting Stars Spring/Summer teams will be:
Ages U9-U13- Sunday April 6th
Ages U14-U17- Sunday March 9th.

LATE RESULTS
