RTR trailed Minneota by 17 in the second half Saturday. RTR tied the game at 55 when Casey Gifford picked up a loose ball on the next Minneota possession a scored to give RTR a 57-55 lead with 1:20 left. Ashley Hennen made one of two free throws to make it 57-56. Gifford did her own 1 out of 2 bit at the line to make it a 58-56 game. Minneota had a chance to tie, but it did not fall. Gifford was fouled again, and again went one for two at the line to make the final 59-56. Gifford scored 20 of her 23 points in the second half.
Yesterday RTR continued their upsetting ways knocking off #1 3A North seed Lakeview.

MN
Allison Anderson, NRHEG is now the school's leading all time scorer. She added 24 points to her total in a 76-53 win over Blue Earth on F23. She now has 1497 for her career.
