Rogers 40, 54, 74.1, .370
Bench: BSM 6, Rogers 3
made free throws: Rogers 12, BSM 6. Again, like DLS, BSM is not going to the line that much. Not a good sign

St. Michael-Albertville 68, Hermantown 52

It looked like Hermantown was forcing, and pressing instead of letting the game just happen. It also looked as if they were emotionally drained and physically tired. STMA played with much more authority and poise. When things go wrong it is a natural response to tighten up and that is what happened with Hermantown.

Game was tied at 32. STMA went on a 19-7 run with a 7/8 possession string in the mix. Reinschmidt had 8 points during this stretch.

St. Michael-Albertville Player Evaluations
Starters
Marla Arns 12, 17, 70.6, .353
Miranda Nelson 7, 10, 70.0, .500
Jodi Reinschmidt 28, 21, 133.3, .714 on fire today, able to beat kids off the dribble, plays with back to basket, but would be much better suited facing. Will have to face post HS.
Estee Kolles 2, 7, 28.6, .143
Jennifer Wiese 11, 7, 157.1, .571
Bench
Brittani Wiese 0, 2, 0.0, .000
Regan Englund 4, 3, 133.3, .667
Courtney Brant 6, 3, 200.0, .667, cashed in two 3s.

Hermantown Player Evaluations
Starters
Kristin Swartz 5, 5, 100.0, .600 RF fouled out and did not have that much clock
Blair Murphy 3, 5, 60.0, .200
Anna Bjorlin 15, 32, 46.9, .219 either tired, or sick, or just had a plain bad day. Dropping her hand on shot, grabbing knees during breaks shows me "I'm tired" Also just forced some poor shots, poor ball handling decisions. My northern spys tell me this is the worst they have ever seen her. She is the main reason Hermantown is here at the tournament, and did have a strong season, but what happened under the bright lights are all the people will remember. RF: size does matter.
Sara Kelly 14, 16, 87.5, .438
Kelsey Leonard 4, 5, 80.0, .400
Bench
Elli Kantonen 3, 3, 100.0, 66.7
Linsey Olesiak 8, 4, 200.0, .750

BY THE NUMBERS
St. Michael-Albertville 68, 70, 97.1, .486
Hermantown 52, 70, 74.3, .357
Bench: Hermantown 11, STMA 10
made free throws: STMA 20, Hermantown 10. This works in STMA's favor.

Marshall 53, New Prague 42

Marshall dominated early. They had two strings with a four possession stretch in the early part of the first half with a 7-2 run, and five possession string with 10-3 run. New Prague had many mini droughts, but had a six possession drought to close the half. NP did cash in 7 3s.
