Two Roosevelts were crowned state champion yesterday. In Iowa Des Moines Roosevelt won their first title, while Sioux Falls Roosevelt won their 7th and their second in a row.
Mandan won the A title in North Dakota for the fourth year in a row. Ashwaubenon won the D1 title in Wisconsin for the first time.
Dell Rapids finished undefeated in SD A, but Ballard's undefeated season ended in 3A Iowa with Norwalk winning the title.
Two players scored 25 to lead their teams to wins. Elle Radke for Monroe in WI D2, and Jill Young of Mitchell Christian in the Bs in SD.
Cuba City joined SF Roosevelt in repeating.
