Pinnacle Bank Nebraska opened with four straight scoring possessions and led 9-4. That momentum continued for the rest of the game, PBN never trailed. PBN built their lead in the first half to 17-8 on the strength of three 3s. NTC came back with a 10-2 run to close to 19-18. Miranda Speckel for NTC had five in the outburst. PBN had an 11-3 run, with five straight scoring possessions, to finish the half. NTC closed with a six possession drought. The defending champs led 32-23 at the break.

Those trends continued in the second half. NTC had one stretch at the start of the half with a five possession dry spell. PBN led most of the half in double digits. That lead did narrow to 49-41 with about 4:30 left. PBN met the challenge by finishing the game with a 5/7 offensive sequence. After cutting the margin to 8, NTC had three straight non scoring possessions before regaining their balance. There wasn't enough time to mount another challenge and PBN won 60-47.
