GOPHER TEAM CAMP
The Minnesota Gopher team camp begins today. Games tip off today at noon. 28 teams in five different brackets are involved. The championships are set for Saturday for 11:20 and 12:30. Overall schedule on page four of the document.
COACHING NEWS
Mary Jo Hmiliewski, the new Marshall girls basketball coach, made her mark earlier as a player at Tracy-Milroy as Mary Jo Miller. She was Miss Basketball in 1988 and played her college ball at Kansas State where she is second in career assists. The Marshall Independent has more on the new hire today.
Dave Bucklin has resigned at Mountain Lake-Butterfield-Odin.
MINNESOTA ELITE CAMP WINNERS
It was a 3 kind of day yesterday at the Minnesota Elite camp as they crowned 3 on 3 champs and 3 point shooting winners.
3 point winner was Kelsey Jacobson, Moorhead
3 on 3 winners were Kaitlyn Houser, Zimmreman, Sarina Baker, DeLaSalle; Cassie Dorschner, Kasson-Mantorville.
