TOP 100 EXPO RECAP
Today I traveled up to St. Cloud to catch the final day of the Top 100 Expo camp.
There were eight teams of about ten players each. The State JUCO coaches (James Fassett, Minneapolis CC; Steve Hucke and Chris Stenzel, Rochester CC; Dan Zbosnik, Mesabi CC) were coaching the players this week.

Each team was given a college name and the team that ruled the roost never losing a game during the camp was U Conn. U Conn had a big dose of Centennial on the squad with Emily Becken, Kayla Blom and Bridget Schuneman. At one point during the week they scored north of 120 in a four 10 minute quarter stop time game. That squad won the camp tournament. They beat Rutgers in the semifinals and then hit the century mark exactly in a 100-78 championship win over LSU.

LSU beat Purdue in a tight semifinal contest 63-59. This is the semi I watched.
In the consolation final it was North Carolina rallying from six down with 2:30 left beating ASU on a last second drive by Lulu Seelye.
