NUC took advantage of their down time to climb back in the hunt with an 11-0 run to make it 24-22 NUC. Cathedral took the lead on a three by Val Lux. With the gauntlet thrown down Braham responded with five straight scoring possessions, and not one score came from Diedrich's hands. Braham led 35-31 after the flurry. NUC had one more push in them and regained the lead 36-35 on Kaitlin Duschene's shot. Diedrich on the next Braham possession canned two free throws to but the Bombers back in the lead. Each team had opportunities with two minutes left. Braham couldn't add to their lead as they missed two 1 & 1 opportunities. NUC on the other hand turned it over a couple of times. With under 12 seconds left Diedrich added two free throws to make the final margin 39-36. NUC heaved a desperation 3 with one second left, but to no avail.
