Comments by Coach Holleman, "The girls took excellent care of the basketball from start to finish. You can tell that Buffalo is a Class AAAA school because they really know how to bang inside and apply extreme pressure out on the perimeter. I was very worried about fatigue and the heat, but the girls came out and brought on their "A" game. Sometimes it is tough to shoot the trey when our opponents are playing aggressive M-M defense, but the Owls managed to drain 10 treys in this championship game (Lindsie hit three, Bree hit six, and Jenny hit one). Bree and Jenny really crashed the boards hard pulling down 9 and 8 boards respectively. Chelsea and Hannah played some outstanding post defense the entire day. It will be great to have two post players this upcoming season. It was also great to see Lindsie score in double digits. Kelsey Olson and Kaylee Voorhees both received some quality minutes throughout the tournament and played some excellent basketball. Once again, I was the most impressed with the TEAM basketball that was played the entire day. These girls were encouraging each other, giving 110%, and most importantly, HAVING FUN! "
