NC Heat, MN Stars Borowicz Win Showtime Brackets

ADIDAS SHOWTIME
NC Heat won the sponsored D bracket with a pair of wins. In the semis they beat CY-Fair Houston Cobras 54-40, and then beat Cincinnati's Finest Black 51-47 in the finals. NC Heat will now play Exodus NYC in the sponsored final four.

MN Stars Borowicz also won their bracket, the select C. They defeated the Texas Breakers 50-47 for their title. MSB will now play East Bay Xplosion 15s in the Select final four.

In the sponsored C bracket MN Stars Hested lost to FBC Blue 48-42, then lost to Dayton Hoopstars black 59-55 to finish fourth.

In the Select Division
In the A bracket MN Stars Antl beat FBC Inland Empire 60-57 for the consolation championship.

In the B bracket MN Stars Smith also took the consolation title with a 36-28 win over the Florida Starzz.

NIKE SUMMER SHOWCASE
Still no results posted on their site, and I am not able to get my email so I don't know if anyone has emailed me.

MISS BASKETBALL
IBCA Select I faced off against sister squad IBCA Select II and edged them 52-47. Katelin Oney had 16 for IBCA Select I to lead both teams.
IBCA Select now moves to the quarterfinals with a game against the KC Hustle. Pinnacle Bank Nebraska also is in the quarters. The other quarterfinal teams were not in Sioux Falls. You can find out more on the Miss Basketball game day page.

AAU NATIONALS

The Midtown Lady Monarchs won their only game in pool U yesterday with a 66-40 win over Indiana Finest Red.
St. Paul Central split their games. They lost to the Illinois Rockets 39-31 and then beat GBL Lady Rebels 50-37. You will see those results in the same link as the U pool even though SPC is in the W pool.

The Mpls Lady Cats bounced back in pool B with a 70-36 win over Virginia U Turn Warriors.

The MN Lady Suns lost twice yesterday in pool L: First off the lost to a Canadian team--Blessed Sacrament---48-47. They then lost to the overall #4 seed in the tournament Mid-Atlantic Elite 45-37.

The 14s start their tournament today. North Tartan, Metro Stars, Lady Suns Gold and Lady Suns White will represent Minnesota.
