COACHING NEWS
Mary Jo Hmielewski has been named the new Marshall girls basketball coach. Hmielewski was the coach at Redwood Valley which is also in the Southwest Conference, the same conference as Marshall. From the Marshall Independent.

Some Summer Leagues are wrapping up this week. Here are some of the results
IRON RANGE SUMMER LEAGUE

The Champlin Park Summer League will have their playoff on Thursday. Osseo is 12-0. Joining them in the final four are Maple Grove, Park Center and Fridley.

TRANSFER
Europe Guy will be at Minneapolis South this season. She averaged 6.4 points per game at Mpls North last year. She is the second player that played at North to go to another school for the upcoming year. Guy is the 9th known player that will play at a different school this year. Last year there were 25 known transfers.
