Miss Basketball Tournament Starts

ADIDAS SHOWTIME NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS

Amber Dvorak, the 6-7 Hinckley-Finlayson center, is playing with the MN Stars Borowicz 16U team in Atlanta.

This is how some teams fared.
The NE Bison CSS (16U) finished 3-2 in the top (sponsored) bracket.
They were defeated by a very talented New York Gauchos team 45-30 in a game in which the Gauchos attempted to stall for 16 minutes of the game. In the second game the Bison CSS were also defeated by Indiana Elite 43-33. The NE Bison CSS defeated the Memphis Lady Bobcats (Memphis Elite) 47-46 in overtime. They finished 7th out of 32 teams in the sponsored bracket.

The NE Judds CSS (15U) finished 4-1 in the 16U (open) Bracket as they played up an age level. The Judds team defeated the Rhode Island Breakers 16's 52-51 in a sudden death overtime thriller. In the second game they defeated the MN Stars- 15's Schmitz 54-49. They defeated the Connecticut Shamrocks 37-36 to finish 9th out of 32 teams.

MN Stars Schmitz finished 12th after a loss to SC 76ers Black 51-36.

MISS BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT
Action in Kearney, Nebraska. Look at the box score page for more details.
Northern Lites, (a team of MN/SD players) beat Southern Minne Magic White 39-28. Northern Lites then lost to Kansas Hoop Service 39-35. Tulsa Swoosh also beat SMMW 50-36.
MN Breeze beat SCU Hoops 48-38, then beat KS Hoop Service II 61-38.
Lakeville North lost to Kansas City Hustle 44-40. LN bounced back with a 50-32 win over Arizona Sting.
ECI MN Gold beat Missouri Rage 55-52, but lost to Playing with Purpose 56-38.
MN Swish defeated the KY Level I Ballerz 55-36

IBCA Select I crunched WYCO Pride 81-20 and then beat Twin Lakes 72-49
IBCA Select II silenced the Arizona Thunder 60-25
Fox Valley Hustle beat All Iowa Attack II (not I) 43-36, the Wichita Bearcats also beat this AIA team 65-54.
Iowa Elite zipped by ECI West Gold II 79-25.

ECI West Gold doused Kansas on Fire 71-45 and also cashed in Pinnacle Bank Neb II 67-43

Dakota Hardwood Threat beat WCS Hustlers 65-24

Pinnacle Bank Neb I beat Oklahoma Swish 52-42.

TOP TEN ALL AMERICAN CAMP
Audrey Holmes, NE Judds CSS, played in the 15U Top Ten All American Camp.

Rachelle Eckmann, MN Stars Antl will also be at the upper classman section of this camp.

Marissa Kastanek, KK Houser, Melissa MacFarlane, Kelsey Lliteras, and Alyssa Kamphaus from the two Cornhusker Shooting Stars 16U teams, will be in the Top Ten All American Camp.
