Minnesota Elite Camp Crossover Game
STORM 49, SHOCK 46

The Storm held on by their fingernails for a 49-46 win over the Shock. The game was tied at six early on. The Storm saw fair skies for seven possessions, but the Shock didn't rock the nets either. The Shock led 10-6. The Shock then switch into the drought mode with a seven possession drought. They added another five possession drought late in the half. The Storm edged forward with a 23-20 lead at halftime.

When it rains it pours and it was pouring for the Storm early in the second half. They connected six straight possessions to open the half. Andrea Hagberg and Brittni Mayer each had four for the Storm. With the 12-2 run the Storm led 35-22. It didn't help that the Shock had a six possession dry spell. The Storm stretched that lead out to 40-26. The Shock did close back to 40-31, but the Storm tested the high waters at 47-33 again. The Shock went on a 7-0 run in three possessions to close to 47-40. The Storm was drying up. They only had two points the last eight possessions. The Shock had a strong finish with a string of four straight scoring possessions, but the clock ran out on their rally.
