This game took place on Saturday, June 30
Dakota Showcase, Augustana, Sioux Falls
Semifinals
METRO STARS BLACK 59, ALL IOWA ATTACK I 51

I was able to catch the second half of this game as it started late. I watched the ECI/DHT semifinal in it's entirety.

AIA led at half 22-21 and added to their totals with a 10-1 run to go up 32-22. MSB was on the ropes. MSB went on an 8-2 run to close to 34-30. Courtney Boylan had three assists in the burst. AIA maintained their lead until 39-36 when MSB went on a 7-0 run. Boylan had four points with Adrea Holler had three. AIA had a five possession drought at that point. The largest MSB lead came at 46-39 on a three by Carolyn Dienhart. AIA remained in shooting distance. The game tightened up a couple of times with a three point margin, the last coming at 54-51 after a Chelsea Poppens basket. Dienhart put in one free throw and AIA came down the floor to narrow the margin again, but Poppens was charged with an illegal screen. That call did not make the AIA bench happy and they were assessed two technicals. Courtney Boylan put the finishing touches on the game with four free throws to make it 59-51. At that point MSB passed the ball in and ran out the clock.

Sarah Wiens, Burnsville 0, 2, 0.0, .000
Courtney Boylan, Chaska 11, 5, 220.0, .600 the reason her pp100 is off the chart was the four free throws on the technical. take those out of the equation and her pp100 is a still high 140.0. She wasn't charged a possession on the techs because the possession didn't end with her free throws.
