This game took place on Friday, June 29
Dakota Showcase, Augustana
Sioux Falls
pool play
ALL IOWA ATTACK I 51, MID MISSOURI HUSTLE 48

Both teams were undefeated prior to this game and a trip to the championship quarters were on the line. That gave this game a much more playoff feel than some of the others we saw on Friday. All Iowa Attack got off to a slow start. They didn't score in their first four possessions and were down 9-2 quickly to MMH. AIA quickly found their groove with six straight scores in a 12-2 run and led 19-16. By halftime MMH tied the game at 24.

AIA had a much better start to the second half as they jumped out to a 14-4 run. AIA enjoyed a 38-28 lead at that point. They continued to cruise along at that margin with a 49-37 lead with four minutes left. Then it became a bumpy ride. MMH reached from behind the arc for three 3s in a round on an 11-0 run to close to 49-48. With 25 seconds left Marni Jacobson for AIA dropped two free throws for the final margin, but the game still had some nail biting moments. MMH had two possessions to try to tie, but they bounced out.
