Coach Teas & I got to this game right at tip off. This started a nine game marathon this day with the final day of pool play. I will try to digest these games quickly. You won't get the in depth detail unless something really hits me on the head. You are going to be getting 13 games of Out & Abouts. I am not going to try to get a hernia covering it.

First off these teams are not in my coverage area, so an explanation on where they are from: Kansas City Hustle is from Kansas. Midwest Trailblazers are from Nebraska. KCH led most of the first half with leads going out to as many as five (18-13). MT tied it at 22, but KCH finished the half with a 7-0 run to lead at the break 29-22. Danielle Bird for KCH had 10 at half including two 3s.

The lead did narrow to 36-35 KCH midway through the half. KCH built the lead back up to 47-38 on the strength of a 7-2 run with about 3:30 left. They then went into a five possession hibernation. MT did cut that lead down to 47-43 with 44 seconds left but Bird and Kendra Carlyle both put in two free throws for the final margin.
