STATE TOURNAMENT
Lahainaluna opens the D1 tournament with a potential game against defending champion Punahou. Punahou plays in today. Lahainaluna starts on Wednesday. From the Maui News.

The Hawaii 12 team state tournaments start today. Ferd Lewis has a column on the #1 D2 seed Sacred Hearts and coach Alan Matsui. He will have to decide on boys or girls to coach next season when the girls play in the winter.
