AAU STATE TOURNAMENT SCHEDULES
The MN State AAU tournament will be at Cooper this weekend (don't look at the date which says May 19-20, it is wrong). Action kicks off on Friday and it is all brackets, no pools. Quarterfinals will be finished on Saturday. Semis and finals will be on Sunday for the 16s. The 16u and 15u finals are 3:15; the 14u finals are 11:30.

If the seeds go according to plan there will be a rematch with MN Stars Borowicz vs North Tartan in the semis. Borowicz beat NT in Forest Lake 62-55 two weeks ago. NC Heat and MN Stars Hested could face each other in the semis too. Both of those games would be held at 10:15 on Sunday morning.

MYAS will have a few tournaments this weekend with five teams at Hopkins in the 161 division.

I have added four more teams to the AAU rosters: 43 Hoops Olsen 16s; Team Train; Lady Bobcats; and Minneapolis Lady Lakers

MORE TEAS' PEEVES
This is delayed from yesterday due to Memorial Day but here is the third installment of Coach Teas' Pet Peeves:
#6 players not concentrating on free throw attempts. rushing, hurrying the shot.
#5 Use of spin move vs pressure defense in traffic. The end result is a double team trap, turnover and lay up the other way. players need to keep vision on the basket to keep aware of the situations
#4 Rebound outlet to the wrong side (far side) after a defensive rebound. The outlets also need to do a better job of yelling for the ball and coming to the ball.
