Why the delay? the router was down and I spent the good part of an hour talking with tech support. As you can see it is up and running (with fingers crossed) now. And for a change of pace I am starting with the college report.

COLLEGE REPORTS
SIGNING
Stephany Scheuring, IKM, IA has signed with UM Kansas City. The 6-4 post averaged 16.3 ppg for the class A runner up this season. From the Harlan Tribune.

Kelsey Ryder, Ottumwa is headed to William Penn. Ryder is a 6-2 post and will also play volleyball in college. From the Ottumwa Courier.

ILLINOIS HIRES
Jolette Law, a Rutgers assistant, is the new hire at Illinois. From the Peoria Journal Star.

TOURNAMENT BID
Sioux Falls has put in a bid for the Mid-Continent conference tournaments for 2009 and 2010. From the Sioux Falls Argus Leader.

TOURING
Iowa will be headed to Greece from May 23 to June 2. From the Daily Iowan.
