TRACK NEWS?
Hanna Muegge, Hopkins and Metro Stars Black basketball player, is also a track athlete specializing in jumps. She is featured on NWcable 12 with her track, basketball and academics. Muegge competed in the true team meet on Friday and won the triple jump at 37-2 and long jump at 17-2. Hopkins finished 3rd in AAA.

Pipestone added to their team trophy case with a win at the true team 1A Track meet yesterday. Faith Tinklenberg, a standout on the basketball court, is a strong athlete in track too. She ended up second in the 800 2:24.00; 2nd in the high jump at 5-0; and was part of the 4x400 championship team.
Another basketball player Steph Kocourek, the won that hit the game winner in the championship game, was 3rd in the 300 hurdles, and 2nd in the triple jump.
Pipestone ended up with 382 points 7 better that Sauk Centre. It was decided on the 4x400. From the StarTribune.

FOREST LAKE AAU TOURNAMENT
Today the finals are bracketed out at Forest Lake. The third place, or what I will call the bronze bracket starts play at 8:30 this morning with the Silver (pool 2nd placers) and Gold (1st placers) following after.
