MORE TRACK NEWS
Marissa Janning, seventh grader at Watertown-Mayer Middle School, who played at the varsity HS level, and player for the Minnesota Monarchs 13U AAU basketball team, qualified for sections in track by winning her subsection in both the 1600 and 3200 meter races. She ran 5:17 in the 1600 and 11:38 in the 3200.

TOURNAMENTS
The AAU will have a four team 16u girls tournament Saturday at Bloomington Kennedy. Most MN teams are taking the weekend off with the younger teams having the state championships last weekend and the 14 and older playing in a power packed tournament last weekend. Non of the Kennedy teams played last week end in Forest Lake.
The results have now been posted for the 161 tournament won in stunning fashion by MN Stars Borowicz.
Also posted is the 162 tournament at Forest Lake won by Team Xtreme in an extremely close contest.
Still no posting from the 15s and 14s at Skyview or 13s state finals at Bloomington Kennedy. MN Stars won the 15s, North Tartan the 14s.

The MYAS will also have tournaments on Saturday.

LOOK AT THE LYNX
Last year I analyzed the Lynx on a game by game performance. I have been asked by countless fans if this will happen this year. I will start today to retro fit the last three games the Lynx played. You will get the same details and number crunching. I originally did it last year to see how the numbers compared to the HS and AAU performances. It will show what it takes to reach the pinnacle of the game.
