A LOOK AT THE LYNX: Sacramento
Here is the second contest the Lynx played this year on Sunday at home against Sacramento.

SACRAMENTO monarchs 74, MINNESOTA lynx 64

Again I was wrapped up in the AAU tournament in Forest Lake so here is what I could glean.

#1. Minnesota scored on 35 possessions compared to 34 for Sacramento, but Sac town dropped the 3 bomb six more times in the contest.
Droughts: Minnesota had a pair of long ones a 9 possession string stretching between the first and second quarter. Later in the second and third a 7 possession string put a damper on scoring. The biggest Sac drought was six.
Runs: MN's best string was four three times, Sac had two 4 runs, the last at the tail end of the fourth quarter.
Second Chancers/D Rebounds: MN gave up 13 points on second chancers. Sacramento had 15 offensive rebounds. MN had 17 defensive rebounds, a .531 rebound %, compared to Sacramento's .818 d rebound %. Ohlde needs to get more than one defensive rebound in the game.
Late game execution: MN closed to 63-59 with 3:22 left. Sac finished off the contest with a 6/7 offensive sequence with all 11 points coming at the line. MN finished off the contest 2/7. All the non scoring possessions were missed shots from the floor, from behind the arc and from the line.
