Northern State Upsets North Dakota

SIGNINGS
Abby Bratlien, Tioga, ND, and Anna Skala of Red Lake Falls MN via Lake Region CC have signed with Mary. Bratlien averaged 18 ppg as a sophomore, she missed all of last season with an injury. Skala is a 6-2 forward who averaged 16 ppg last year. They also have signed Cassandra Kelsch of Mandan.

Brianna Schneiderman, Concordia Roseville has signed with Dordt. Schneiderman averaged 10.6 ppg last year for the 20-7 team. Steph Goslinga of Unity Christian in Iowa also signed for Dordt. she averaged 13.3 last year. Shoshana Womeldorf, Lanesboro, MN is another Dordt signee. Womeldorf averaged 8.8 ppg last year.

Megan Vogel and South Dakota State achieved some rewards this week. Vogel was named player of the week for Independent D1 teams. SDSU received three votes in the coaches poll. It is the first time SDSU received votes since moving D1. Here is how the USA Today/ESPN poll shakes out.

Michigan Dearborn picked up their first win of the year in a convincing way with an 80-48 win over Grace Bible College.

UM Morris halted Bethel 83-66.
