Minnesota HS Practice, Michigan HS Postseason Open

MN PRACTICE OPENS
Today is the first day of Minnesota HS practice.

BECKER LEAGUE WRAP
Champlin Park beat Becker 35-28 and Rogers 47-40 to finish unblemished at 10-0. The schedule was switched to give teams more competitive games.

COACHING NEWS
Former St. Paul Academy coach Kevin Carlisle will be an assistant at Minneapolis Henry this season with the boys team.

MICHIGAN HS ACTION/DISTRICTS
Districts begin today in Michigan. Many Districts have a Monday/Wednesday/Friday game pattern.

Auburn Hills Avondale is looking to get to final four, last year they lost in the A quarterfinals. The Detroit News looks into their crystal ball and picks the final four teams.

The Livingstone Press & Argus has a run down on area teams in the postseason. Teams like Brighton, and Howell are 17-3 and looking to grab the brass ring.

Kristen Eible is out for the postseason for #3B DeWitt due to a broken right hand. From the Lansing State Journal.

Keisha Hines, Auburn Hills Avondale is headed to Louisville

Stephanie Rosado, Pontiac Central and Brittany Jones, West Bloomfield are off to UTEP.

Grand Valley State has inked six including Kelsey Crowley, Lowell, Kari VanderSchaaf, South Christian, Elizabeth Van Tiflin, Saginaw Heritage, Tonya Weber, Portland St. Patrick along with Kristin Eible, DeWitt, and Amber Peters.
