MN Scrimmage Photos

Here are a few of the passable photos that I took at the Hopkins and Bloomington Jefferson scrimmages. The fact is the camera was out of batteries early. I got the 4 AA batteries, but I still think the camera is slow. It is a regular camera, no 12 pound lens. So here are the few, the stand still (one blur shot). My camera work needs work.


This is the few from above of the Eagan vs Mpls South portion of the scrimmage. Ephesia Holmes is on the right block on defense for South. Tayler Hill, also of South, is at the top of the circle on defense.

Next we have Breck passing the ball in against Mpls Roosevelt. Kiara Strickland is #23 for Roosevelt.

You can see the Breck block out position against Roosevelt.

Here is Talisha Barlow of Roseville looking in to Janae Burich. On defense is Ana Garcia on the ball and Jackie Hiebert on the post for Hopkins.

This is as good as the action shots get a blur with Jackie Hiebert, Hopkins going up against Roseville.

Here is Kiara Buford and Megan Howard teaming up for a rebound for St. Paul Central against Mpls North. Angel Robinson is on the far left for SPC.

This is action from Owatonna (white) and New London-Spicer (gold). Two NLS players are left on the floor in this action.

I don't know if I named the other teams at Jefferson, but : Jefferson, Mankato West; Burnsville; Rochester Lourdes, Mpls North; St. Paul Central; Owatonna and NLS.

The fact is I need a fast camera, with a better zoom capability to get the tight fast paced action that is MN HS basketball. But you can get some idea of what is going on.
