Valley vs. MCAA
I took the top eight teams from each tournament since the MCAA held their 9-13 tournament elsewhere and I did not see them.
Conference, Points, Possessions, PP100, floor %
Valley 58.25, 70.4, 82.77, .414
MCAA 46.78, 63.4, 73.73, .355

The analysis: the Valley has better offensive players and teams. They play at a faster pace and are more effective. St. Clair led the way in effective offense with .487. Three other Valley schools were above .430, only one MCAA school cracked .430. St. Clair also ruled the pp100 with 97.4. Truman was the only other school to crack 90 at 91.7. Both are in the Valley. You might be inclined to think that MCAA defense is better. I disagree. I am not a proponent that the defense is that much better. I think offense (shooting, ball handling) will find away to score given that there is no shot clock.

Let's look at the Classes in MN
Class, # of teams watched, points, possessions, pp100, floor %
A 18, 51.2, 68.3, 74.88, .367
AA 15, 55.2, 68.2, 80.94, .385
AAA 17, 53.2, 66.8, 79.7, .383
AAAA 69, 55.3, 66.8, 82.79, .405

As you can see AAAA dominates except for A in possessions. This, I feel, is due to the turnovers.
