Des Moines Roosevelt beat DM Hoover 38-33 and with the win caused a three way tie for the CIML Metro title. Roosevelt, Hoover, and DM Lincoln all had a 8-2 record. It was Roosevelt's first title since 1973, Hoover's since 1987.

Liz Miller, St. Charles reached the 1000 point mark with 24 points in a 59-49 win over Wabasha-Kellogg. She is the 3rd player from St. Charles to reach the mark.
Hannah Linz, Eden Valley-Watkins reached the 1000 point mark with 26 points in a 73-52 win over Holdingford. She is the second freshman in MN this year to reach the mark (Tayler Hill, Mpls South was the other). She is the 11th player from EVW to achieve 1000 points.
Sam Painschab, Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted reached the 1000 point mark with 12 points in a 75-52 win over Pierz. Painschab is the 3rd player from HLWW to achieve 1000.
