INJURY UPDATE

Kristin Berg, Waseca was lifting weights with her team on Friday F10 when she lost conciousness. Coach Curt Link had to give mouth to mouth. She was given cardio pulmonary recessitation by emergency staff. She was taken to Waseca Medical Center. The diagnosis--severe panic attack. She was released Friday night as her team gathered. She will need more tests before playing again this year.

Julia Hirssig, Rochester Mayo reached the 2000 point mark with 19 points in a 50-37 win over Faribault. She is the 3rd Mayo player to reach 2000, the others were the Miller twins. Hirssig played the first five years of her career with Rochester Faith Christian. Hirssig is the 53rd player in the state to hit 2000. She is the 3rd this year joining Cory Montgomery, Cannon Falls, and Andrea Fennern, Wabasso.
