DAKOTA SHOWCASE
POOL PLAY
SOUTH DAKOTA RIDERS 67, PRAIRIE BISON HOOPSTERS 45
The South Dakota Riders are made up of Sioux Falls Roosevelt (Rough Riders) players. The Prairie Bison Hoopsters are made up of Eastern North Dakota players plus one Minnesota player.
The Riders took control fast in this game. The Riders scored on nine of their first eleven possessions as they built up a 20-6. PBH had a hard time scoring with with a 1/10 offensive sequence. Later in the half PBH suffered through a 1/11 sequence. The Riders led 44-21 at half time. All the Riders needed was two more points after half time to clinch the win.
There wasn’t much drama in the second half.

SOUTH DAKOTA RIDERS
All players are from Sioux Falls Roosevelt
STARTERS
Katie Meister 8, 5, 160.0, .800 forward.
Emily Palmer 4, 3, 133.3, .667, Earlier this summer this lefty took control of the game at Cooper. Now it looks as if she is trying to fit in. She is basically hiding her talent. She did not look to shoot or was aggressive in attacking the basket. If I had not seen the first game she would have been glossed over here.
Shaunteva Ashley 7, 11, 63.6, .273 point guard with quickness.
