TOURNAMENT RESULTS
NE Bison and NE Judds Cornhusker Shooting Stars teams had successful weekends.
The NE Bison CSS 17U team played for the first time since finishing 4-1 and the Deep South Classic in Raleigh, NC. They finished 6-0 including a 60-35 win over the Omaha Crusaders 17U team (that finished 4-1 at USJN Chicago Windy City in April) to end the tournament. KK Houser and Marissa Kastanek of Lincoln Southeast each had 17 in the finals for the Bison. (from the Omaha World Herald.
The NE Judds CSS 15U team played for the first time since finishing 3-2 and in 4th place of the 15U division of the Deep South Classic. They finished 5-1 playing in the 17U division, They defeated the Omaha Crusaders 16’s 38-33 to end the weekend.
The teams will play in 7 tournaments over the next 5 ½ weeks including Ames, IA Midwest Classic next weekend.

Also the CSS 13U team won the 14U championship over the Omaha Sparks.

SIGNING
Kim Mestdagh of Belgium has signed with Colorado State. She is a 5-10 guard.
COACHING
Mahogney Green has been hired as an assistant women's basketball coach at Central Michigan. Green has been an assistant at Eastern Michigan.
Karl Dollhopf will be the new Gladstone, MI girls basketball coach pending board approval. From the Escanaba Daily Press.

Iowa State finished 4th in attendance this past year.
HIGH SCHOOL TOURNAMENTS
