17u Pool Play
43 HOOPS ZUCK 46, TRIPLE THREAT 40
43 Hoops Zuck led from the start to the finish in this 17 pool play game. 43HZ broke the game open with a 12-2 run in the first half to push their lead to 22-10. 43HZ had a 5/6 offensive sequence with five different scorers. Triple Threat suffered through a 1/13 sequence that put them in the hole. TT's pp100 was 7.7 during this time. TT finished the first half with a 9-2 run. 43HZ led 24-19 at the break. TT's Rachelle Blaschko led both teams with nine points.
TT cut the margin to 26-24 after a three by Abby McDaniel. The same offensive inconsistency reared its head again for TT. They suffered through a 7 possession drought. 43HZ pushed the lead back to nine at 35-26. It was 43HZ's time for offensive slow down. TT scored six unanswered points to cut the margin to 35-32. That was as close as it would get. An eight possession drought put TT on life support. 43HZ awoke from their offensive slumber and added nine to their totals to lead by double digits once again 44-32 after a three by Jessa Zuck with 3:30 left. TT mounted a comeback with an 8-2 run. However time expired soon thereafter with 43HZ holding the advantage at 46-40.
