AMES TOURNAMENT
CORNHUSKER SHOOTING STARS
The Nebraska Bison CSS 17U is currently 3-0 in the HS open division. They defeated the Iowa Lightning, MN Fury, and MN 43 Hoops Zuck. All 3 victories were over 20 points. The Bison has now advanced to the quarterfinals.
The NE Judds CSS 15U is currently 3-0 in the 15U division defeating the Wisconsin Lady Spartans 73-52, North Tartan 14’s 69-38 and Team Wisconsin Red 69-54.
The Cornhusker Shooting Stars currently have undefeated teams, playing in the semifinals of the U13, U12, and U11 divisions.
LADY CATS
The MN Stars Jihad Lady Cats beat Wisconsin Select 51-29. Brianna Williams had 14 Points, and 7 boards, Tyisha Smith scored 12. The Cats won the pool and advanced to 15U Gold winners bracket. The Lady Cats took on Shane Mullaney & North Tartan 14. Again Cats took care of business with a 60-55 win. Ty Smith had 18 points, 6 assists, and 5 steals, Kaylani Edwards 10 points, and 9 boards.
The Lady Cats move on with a bye and will play the winner of Nebraska Shooting Stars & AIA. Cats will advance to the finals if they can get past their 3 pm opponent.
MN Stars Martin 13U beat NW Iowa this morning then ran into Nebraska CSS 13U team.
WISCONSIN ALL STAR GAMES
The North beat the South in the WBCA All Star game at the D1 level 81-64. Hannah Quilling of Eau Claire North led both teams with 20. The South took D2 and D3 games, with the North prevailing in D4. Brynn Larson (Oconto Falls) of the D2 North squad led that division with 15. Briana Kaiser (Cuba City) of the South led that division with 15. Becca Paulson (Clayton) of the D4 North led everyone in all classes with 23. From the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
CROSBY-IRONTON TOURNAMENT
Bemidji won the Ranger Summer Basketball Jamboree at Crosby-Ironton yesterday.
The Jamboree was in a round robin format with four schools participating. Here are the results.

HANSEN-ANDERSON
The Hansen-Anderson camp wrapped up this week in South Dakota. Tara Heisler of Watertown was the camp MVP. The Sioux Falls Argus Leader has a story on the background of the camp, and how it continues on despite the death last year of founder Dick Hansen.

COACHING NEWS
Ryan Bragdon and Shauna Bookal have been hired as assistant women's basketball and director of basketball operations at Ohio. Bragdon was an assistant at Western Michigan. Bookal is a West Virginia grad.
