DAKOTA SHOWCASE: FRIDAY MASSACRES
First off I am flying solo this weekend, Coach Teas is in the Boundary Waters with a canoe.

I made it down to Sioux Falls in good time. I left before 7 am and arrived close to 11 am. Starting with the 12:30 pm games I saw a grand total of nine games. Of those nine games only one had any nail biting involved. Metro Stars White edged out Nebraska Twisterz 49-47 in the only game that went down to the wire.
The other game that was fairly competitive was the Sioux Falls Washington Warriors, the state AA champ in SD, beating North Tartan Crosby 59-50. NTC was without the services of Janae Burich who went down with an ankle injury yesterday and was on crutches.
Other than those two games, the rest were bloody affairs. The average score was 75.7-43.0 that is a 32.7 margin of victory, or as I have describe it the Friday Massacre. The usual suspects were the victors: IBCA Select Red won twice on court 2 as they scored the most of any team I charted today 92-46 vs Montana Elite. They also had the lowest points allowed with 31 vs Northern Lites.
Tomorrow the stories will be much different. Everyone is out of the pool and bracketology takes over.

4. KC Hustle vs Pinnacle Bank Nebraska
Four Nebraska teams are in the "elite 8"
Metro Stars Black is the defending champ.
Pinnacle Bank won the Dakota Showcase two years ago.

It will be much better competition than bloody Friday.

If you are planning on attending bring long pants and a jacket. It is down right frosty at Augustana.
