ECI WEST 70, SOUTH DAKOTA LIGHTNING 51

If you haven’t noticed a pattern, then go back and read the other Friday reports from the Dakota Showcase. This was the third of the Friday Massacres. This was the third time that a team, this case ECI West, jumping out to a huge lead (19-6) after a handful of possessions. ECI West scored on 8 of their first 11 possessions as their offense was like a hot Knife through butter. Speaking of Knife, Shaunna had nine points in the early run. By half time it was 40-26.

There was no mystery the rest of the way.

The only mystery was the SDL uniforms. Worst uniforms ever. With numbers only on the back it was extremely difficult to track the action. In fact I thought I was in a summer league game. The other problem was the numbers on those uniforms didn’t match the numbers in the program. If SDL wanted to confuse scouts and fans—mission accomplished.
