COACHING NEWS
Matt Nilsen has been named Head Girls Basketball Coach at Edina. Nilsen has been an Edina girls assistant coach.

Tony Hobson is leaving Hastings College for Fort Hays State. From the Grand Island Independent and the Hutchinson (KS) News.

Keith Lindahl has been hired as women's basketball coach at Minneapolis Community and Technical College. For the past few years he was a coach at Missouri Valley College. Before that he was a coach at Anoka-Ramsey CC, Park Center, and Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted.

MYAS TOURNAMENT
The Battle of the Hardwood wasn't the only tournament around last weekend. MYAS 16 tournament at Hopkins was won by the Comets 31-26 over Swish. In the 17 tournament at Humboldt St. Michael-Albertville beat 43 Hoops Johnson 39-28.

MORE BASKETBALL ON TRACK
Kaitlin Gerber, a Sophomore from Worthington and also plays AAU for 43 Hoops Zuck, qualified for the State Track meet in the 3200.
