Hankinson Turmoil, Off to Sweden, Champlin Park on Target

COACHING NEWS
Coach Gravalin has left Hankinson for Pelican Rapids. Still the controversy continues apparently. The Geffre family has released a statement to the Hankinson, ND School board. They interviewed former assistants. The main points: inappropriate touching, inappropriate comments, locker room visits and coaching style. From the Wahpeton Daily News.

INTERSTATE BATTLE
Champlin Park topped Sioux Falls Roosevelt 49-44 in a spirited game at the Target Center on Friday before the Lynx game.

The teams played two 22 minute halves with stop time the final 2 minutes of each half. It was a very competitive contest.

GOPHER TEAM CAMP
Hopkins beat Eden Prairie in gopher team camp Friday morning 29-20. Today the championship takes place at 12:30 pm at Williams Arena.

PRO SIGNING
Former SW MN State player Michelle Bruns has signed to play basketball in Sweden. Bruns has been an assistant at Adams State in Colorado. She is from Hecla, SD.
