Championship
UCONN 83, STANFORD 67

UConn won the Top 100 Expo Showcase in St. Cloud with a 83-67 victory over Stanford (all Stillwater players). UConn won each and every game they played in the three day Top 100 Expo Showcase. UConn trailed early 8-2, but they were ahead at the end of the first quarter 19-14. Taylor Stippel had 35 points for Stanford in the loss. UConn had six players with 10 or more points and the two that didn't hit double digits had six points each.

Stanford led early 8-2, but that was short lived. UConn took their first lead at 11-10 on a three my Megan Larson. That started three 3 point plays as UConn started to put distance between themselves 17-10. UConn led 19-14 at the first quarter. Stippel had 12 of the first 14 Stanford points.

UConn used 12 free throws in the second quarter to extend their lead out to 42-33. In the third quarter the UConn defense only permitted one other Stanford player other than Stippel to score. There was an explosion of scoring in the fourth quarter with a combined 48 points. Both teams had 24 each in that quarter.
