Bison Revenge, NC Heat, Super Sophs, Stars in Chicago, Nike Nationals

CHAMPIONSHIP GAMES
BATTLE OF THE PLAINS
Elite Championship--NE Bison CSS 59 IBCA Red 55
The Bison avenged a previous defeat to IBCA by defeating them in a thrilling championship game. Leading scorers were Taylor Moore from Milford with 14 and KK Houser from Lincoln Southeast with 13. The Bison Overcame a 12 point deficit to defeat the Iowa AAU State Champs. IBCA Select Red won the Dakota Showcase in late June.

In the semifinals NE Bison CSS beat MO Team Excel 55-33. Emily Cady from Seward had 21 and Marissa Kastanek from Lincoln Southeast had 10 to lead the Bison.

Elite 7th Place Game
NE Judds CSS 63 Kansas Dream Team 57
Kyley Simmons (Council Bluffs Lewis Central) had 17, and Morgan Dority (Lincoln Christian had 11) to lead the Judds.

NE Judds CSS 63 MO Team Excel 67- Double Overtime
Excel edged out the Judds on a last second shot, Alex Grant from Lincoln Pius X had 12, and Rachel Thrash from Omaha Marian had 19 to lead the Judds

RIVER CITY CLASSIC
NC Heat will play for the championship in the River City Classic tonight. They beat High Intensity in the Diamond bracket. They face Mission Rec Blue tonight.

SUPER SOPH
North Tartan 15s are playing for the championship at the Super Soph 16 team tournament in Orlando. NT15 beat Georgia Elite 54-50 for the right to play in the championship. They are facing North Carolina Flight.

BEST OF THE MIDWEST
MN Stars-Martin got by the Lady Fire 60-51 with Phyliss Webb (Park Center) carrying the bulk of the load with 32 points 11 Boards 3 Blocks

Lady Cats moved past the Michigan City Hurricanes 38-24. Aubrey Davis (Bloomington Kennedy) played well with 12pts.
Martin played at 3 pm against Aurora Lady Lightening. The Cats went against the Lady Fire at 2 pm.

NIKE NATIONALS
North Tartan Larson will be headed to the Nike Nationals at North Augusta, SC July 28-31. Joining NTL will be NT15 players Kayla Hirt, Rachel Banham, Bree Holleman, and Ameshia Kearney.
