9 Teams Looking for Titles, Central Falls

TOURNAMENT UPDATES
AAU 12u-ROCHESTER
The MN Suns lost to Orlando Edge Red 64-48. They will face another Minnesota team, the MN Stars in the playback round today. The Stars lost to PV Vogues 51-34. Here is the championship bracket and playback bracket.

END OF THE TRAIL
NATIONAL DIVISION
Metro Stars Black advances to final 4 of Nike End of the Trail gold bracket where they will play the North Tartan 15U team. The game is on the main floor at Oregon City High School at 3:30 PM. The winner will advance to the finals of the bracket.
North Tartan 15 beat Orange County Elite Black and Boulder Rockies White on Monday.
MSB beat Utah Sky Black and the Winston-Salem Stealers.

The IBCA Select Red team won a thriller second round game against AZ Silver Streaks 58-48 to advance to the quarter finals of their bracket. IBCA trailed by 9 late in the first half before scoring 5 points in 30 seconds to cut the lead to 4 at the half. IBCA went on a 12-0 mid way through the second half with a barrage of 3 pointers.
The IBCA Select Red team played at 6:15 (Oregon time) against the Wichita Bearcats, but there is no word yet.

Michigan's Finest beat Evergreen Express, and East Bay Explosion before falling to Nor Cal Elite Black in the quarterfinals of the Platinum Bracket.

North Tartan Larson won twice yesterday. They beat TSIN Gold and then Cal Stars Red to move to the semifinals in the Diamond Bracket.

AMERICAN DIVISION
In the White Bracket Metro Stars 15s lost their first game to Team Concept So Cal.

TOURNAMENT OF CHAMPIONS-ATLANTA
Signature Division
MN NC Heat won their first two games in Atlanta Monday.
In game one they played City Rocks from NYC. NC Heat led at half 42-23 and extended the margin to 69-41 final. The Heat shot very well hitting 27/59 2 pt FGs, 2/5 3 pt FGs, and 9/13 from the line. Every Heat player scored in this contest.
Game 2 was much more physical. They played Team Unique from DC. NC Heat ground out a 33-27 halftime lead. After halftime their defense buckled down and held Unique to 8 points in 10 minutes after half en route to a 59-47 win. It was a foul filled game as the Heat shot 45 free throws, making 29. They shot 12/27 from 2 pt and 2/7 from behind the arc.
The Heat advanced to the final 8 where they'll face the hometown Peach State Elite Black who knocked off NE Bison CSS. Game time Tuesday is 11:30 am EDT

NE Bison CSS 17U beat Indiana Legends 17s 59-51 in their first game. In the second contest Peach State Elite beat NE Bison CSS 55-45.

All Iowa Attack lost twice yesterday in the Signature A Bracket 55-48 to the CY-Fair Houstonians, and 40-37 to the Dayton Hoopstars.

The NE Judds CSS 15s beat New Jersey Elite 17s 47-23. Time ran out on the NE Judds CSS 15s comeback against CY Fair Houston Heat 17s 62-61.The Judds rallied from 15 down with three minutes to play.

In the A division All Iowa Attack Jensen beat the Lady Bulls 50-39, and then beat Hoop Sessions 46-43.

MIDWEST SUMMER CHALLENGE-CINCINNATI
Four Wisconsin teams have advanced to the bracket play in the Midwest Summer Challenge. #1 seed is WI Fastbreak Select, #3 Team WI Select Samuels, #4 Team WI Select Doucette, and #7 WI Legends.

SUMMER LEAGUES
CONCORDIA ST. PAUL
Minneapolis Southwest defeated St Paul Central in the best of 3 games on Monday night in the first round of the Concordia League Summer Playoffs.
Theairra Taylor, Samantha Robinson-Ricks, and Kyana Johnson played for Central.
Southwest was led by 3 Sophomores (Vinishia Jackson, Micah Thornquist, Aleyse Hunteman) and 3 Freshman (Rayna Lindsey, Maddy Horan and Eva Mitchell).

Minnehaha Academy defeated Mpls Southwest in the 2nd round to advance to play the winner of Henry Sibley and Bloomington Kennedy.
