IBCA Red team also won four. IBCA White team lost the first game in pool play and won the next two pool games. They lost the first bracket game.

Here are the high school elite, high school select, and the open results.

BEST OF THE MIDWEST
Stars - Martin 13U & Stars - Lady Cats 15U both won their pools and advance to the Championship round. Martin rolled past Team Summit 55-24, and declawed the Illinois Wolves 45-31. The Cats got going early against Lady Lightning 38-21, and outlasted the very scrappy East Chicago Wolverines 46-33.

Martin plays at 9 am against the host team Lady Fire. The Cats will go at 11 am against Fort Wayne, Ind. All-Stars. The Championship round will be held at the Schuamburg Sports Center

SUNS GREG
MN Sun's-Greg 15U team finished in 2nd place in the classic bracket behind the Florida Rams in Kings Island, Ohio last week at the DI U15 National Tournament. The Rams finished 3rd in the country at last years U14 Nationals. The Sun's had a very strong pool with 3 of the top 9 teams from last year and came out in the classic bracket. In bracket play, they defeated the New Jersey Knights, the Indiana Rebels, the Maryland Lions, and the Tennessee Wings to get to the championship game. There they lost a tough fought battle to a very quick and strong defensive Florida Rams team. This year's Sun's team is very young with 7 players that could play U14 and 1 that could play U13. They will be playing up in the U16 bracket at the North Tartan Melt Down Tournament this weekend.

CAMPING
The Cedar Rapids Warriors will be at the Iowa City team camp this coming weekend and the University of Northern Iowa (where KK Armstrong and Kaitlin Oney will play this fall) team camp the following week.
